Want to sell your goods without the hassle and fuss of garage sales, social media and tyre kickers?

Over the course of 16 years Lloyds Auctioneers and Valuers have developed into one of Australia’s premier auctioneering and valuation firms.

Lloyds Auctions was founded by Andrew Webber as a family business in 2004 and the company is now led by Lee Hames.

Over the years, the core family business values that Andrew held dear from the beginning have continued to grow with Lloyds as we established ourselves in the marketplace. This means seamless customer service to you, our vendor (and our bidders), is at the forefront of what we do.

You are assured of great service because we adhere to our core values and strengths of honesty and dedication. These have helped shape and develop us as a business and is an integral part of our success.

We pride ourselves in many different areas ranging from classic cars, heavy equipment, agriculture, transport, mining, fine art, portable buildings to consumer goods, just to name a few. There is sure to be someone to help you, no matter what you are looking to sell!

Lloyds Auctions cover all forms of auctioning including online, simulcast and traditional (both in-room and onsite) creating the perfect environment for your item to go under the hammer and sell for the best price.

We actively operate throughout all Australian states through our 10 dedicated auction facilities. Lloyds Auctions have offices all over Australia ranging from Northern Queensland down to Coffs Harbour, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, with our head office located in Brisbane.

We aim to be no more than 3 hours away from you no matter where you are on the East Coast!

We are continually expanding into the international market with many campaigns gaining high interest with bidders in Europe, America and Asia.

Trust is our middle name

We continue to break records for sales prices and make headlines building trust and credibility Australia wide, so you know you will be well looked after. We are Australia’s Trusted Auctioneers & Valuers seen by millions all over mainstream media.

Lloyds Auctions are endorsed Auctioneers and Valuers for State, Commonwealth and Local Government Departments including QLD Police, Gold Coast City Council and Department of Transport & Main Roads.

This means we must have some notable qualities to consistently achieve impressive sales results… Some of these include our quick work ethic and fast turnaround of assets plus you guys, our active supporters and subscribers!

Our Queensland and New South Wales auction rooms alone, are some of the largest in Australia and we boast a total of 28,000 sqm of fully fenced property which is constantly filled with our confident vendors’ stock and assets like yours. We are entrusted to take care of your property through the entire auction process until the winning bidder takes it home.

Our attendance of buyers is easily one of the highest in Australia and our online and simulcast auctions are some of the most popular on the internet, proof that we are reliable enough to become a household name! Remember… the more bidders, the more successful your auction will be.

Earlier this year we put on a series of online Bushfire Relief auctions with all proceeds going directly to fire affected communities, firefighters and volunteers.

We were astounded with the amount of support from the public, big companies, and celebrities like Lincoln Lewis, seeking us out and entrusting us to sell their donated items to support fellow Australians in need.

Record was the key word for the Gosford Classic Car Auction, as they seemed to be broken left, right and centre!

Approximately ten Australian car records were broken for Holden models alone.
Another record breaking highlight included the 1930 Packard 740 which sold for $225,000

We give you total peace of mind

You will also love to know that we operate out of a trust account and we are one of the only major auction houses to do so!  We pride ourselves on our audited trust account and the new standard we set as an industry leader.

The trust account guarantees your money held by us is properly dealt with and can always be accurately accounted for. This is a key factor in why people like you choose Lloyds, and something we also believe in greatly.

We employ over 100 full time staff and have dedicated professional experts sourced from a variety of major firms, making sure there is a specialist to help you, no matter what you are looking to sell!

Our extraordinary recruitment has allowed us to offer you an unprecedented level of expert advice for the sale or valuation of all types of goods. For example, we have become the fourth biggest art dealer in Australia coming from a stand still start in 2018.

Not only are our team of Auctioneers and Valuers incredibly qualified in their chosen areas but they will be with you every step of the way through the auction process.

They make it as simple as possible for you and pride themselves on being contactable almost 24 hours a day throughout the process! We know that being right by your side is very important to you, so we make our accessibility a priority.

Watches like the Rolex Submariner Date LV model also known as the ‘Hulk’, and Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch (which was 1 of only 250 in the world) went under the hammer last year for prices well above retail.

This was because we provided a unique opportunity for people to buy and own a watch they have dreamed of now, instead of waiting several years on a waitlist.

You should join us!

Lloyds Auctions are, without a doubt, one of Australia’s premier Auctioneers and Valuers. For example, our team of Certified Valuers have a broad equipment knowledge base with over 200 years combined experience alone.

Do you have a household or garage full of unnecessary stuff?

Not only do we sell commercial assets and liquidated stock, excess stock, insurance claims, seconds and reconditioned products, but we can also help you to sell your unwanted clutter. Convert it to cash and not have to deal with tyre kickers!

We take the time to learn your needs and we customise campaigns to suit your unique requirements.

This can involve working around your time restraints, assisting you if you wish to keep your assets onsite, or moving them to one of our venues. We also get a detailed account of your exact expectation for the auction and the results you are looking for.

We acquire all this information so we can find what is important to you and customise a campaign to suit what you need.

Alongside this campaign process, we have a unique online auction system which is the closest available experience to attending a traditional auction, allowing each lot to have its own time on the online podium.

This ensures the best price for you, as every bidder has an equal opportunity to bid in the closing seconds of every lot.

We understand your expectation. If the auction happens to fall short of that expectation, our team go into negotiations until your expectation is met, or a positive outcome is achieved.

This entire after-sale process is unique to our business and proof that we go over and above to deliver the best price for you. The real work can often begin after the hammer drops!

All fees are dependant on what you are wanting to sell and what kind of auction you want to sell it in. But something that is consistent across the business is if there is no sale, there is no fee for you!

That’s right, if by some chance we don’t get the price you are after for then we charge you nothing and you can come and collect your goods.

We auctioned the famous Macallan ‘M’ Decanter that is one of only 1,750 bottles from the initial tranche in 2013.

Reports have it that it is now discontinued so that was extremely exciting to see it go for an outstanding price.

How do I sell through Lloyds Auctions?

First, you’ll need to email our friendly team at [email protected] and send through a request of what you want to sell, preferably with some photos. Make sure you include your phone number, your email address and your location.

Once you are in touch with the right person, we will let you know what items will bring the most ‘buck for your bang’ so we can make selling with Lloyds as valuable for you as possible.

If you are wanting to drop the items off to one of our warehouses remember that drop offs are strictly by appointment only. This is for your safety and to make sure you get in and out with zero hassle.

Once you drop off your items, we’ll handle things from there, including taking photos and registering your item for auction. We will deal with all the enquiries and viewings, leaving you to relax!

We’ll pop it in the next suitable auction for you, so the hammer falls for the highest price possible.

We put ourselves in your shoes as every client’s circumstances are different, and we aim to achieve the best outcome and results for you, no matter the situation. So, what are you waiting for?

If you are looking to sell surplus equipment, demand has never been higher, and more people are choosing Lloyds Auctions.
