Sydney, NSW

Sydney is known as the Emerald City and is famous for its glittering harbour where the iconic Harbour Bridge and World Heritage listed Sydney Opera House reside.

Sydneysiders experience life like no other Australians. Living in the nations biggest city and one of the most expensive cities in the world means that life can get busy!

However the hustle and bustle is not in vain, Sydney is classed as one of the world’s most liveable cities!

With the largest population of any city in Australia, the demand in Sydney for buying and selling through online auctions is enormous, with shipping and delivery options to your door.

Our Villawood warehouse is located 40 km west of the Sydney CBD, which means buying and selling has become even easier for New South Wales locals. Access to a local drop off and pick up point makes it convenient for bidders and vendors alike.

Lloyds Auctions often clear excess stock from major Sydney retailers. Insurers liquidate products subject to insurance claims from large multi-national retail chains and big name brands. We also sell a large quantity of art, jewellery, furniture, antiques and our favourite – prestige and collectable classic cars!

Many of our Sydney auctions occur on a regular basis, some weekly, fortnightly or monthly which makes it easy for Sydneysiders to browse for camping gear, a new mattress or a piece of statement artwork.

Our onsite and online auctions are a great way to pick up a bargain and an easy way to shop a variety of different items, all in one online location. Perfect for those who never have time!

We can even ship purchases from our Villawood warehouse right to your doorstep, meaning more time for exploring the Blue Mountains or the Royal National Park with cheaper shipping fees!

Scott Webber is one of the founding partners at Lloyds and has worked for the company from its inception in 2004. In that time Scott has been a Licensed Auctioneer and Qualified ASA Valuer. Prior to Lloyds, Scott was a Farm Manager at Cubbie Station in Queensland, he has an earthmoving and agricultural background.

Scott is heavily involved in daily valuations. He acts for a wide range of clients and vendors including Insurance companies, Financiers, Insolvency Practitioners, Government branches, Joint Ventures and Alliances, large companies, and private individuals. Scott personally co-signs and oversees every valuation report completed by Lloyds. On average the Lloyds valuations department conducts over 500 appraisals per financial year.

Scott has managed many auctions and private sales, previously completing an approximate average of 400-800 traditional auction lots per week. Given that the Lloyds system is now online, traditional auctions are very minimal and are completed in a simulcast method, to comply with contracts we have with major government departments. Although Scott’s focus is currently Valuations, he still oversees and runs auctions weekly on a wide variety of assets from motor vehicles to very specialised process lines.

Scott offers a wealth of experience as an Auctioneer and Valuer in all aspects of Valuations and Asset Disposals.

Having headed disposal programs for Major Infrastructure Alliances, Joint Venture partnerships and Government projects throughout Australia, Scott has a wide range of experience in the Civil Construction, Earthmoving, Manufacturing and Agricultural sectors offering a “turn key” service from start to finish.
