As the capital city of South Australia, Adelaide is a bustling city of 5 million people who are lucky enough to experience the best of both worlds with the beautiful coastline, to the rolling hills and famous wine country.

Famous for festivals such as the second largest annual arts festival, Adelaide Fringe, and the world’s largest Christmas parade, the city is always abuzz with activity. Dubbed “Australia’s live music city”, there are plenty of concerts and performances for everyone’s tastes.

Sporting events at the historic Adelaide Oval include an international cricket test every summer, along with several One Day International cricket matches. Australian rules football is also a favourite of South Australians as is the annual Adelaide 500 Supercars.

The city has hot, dry summers and mild to cool winters with moderate rainfall, especially in the colder months. But that doesn’t stop the tourists visiting Adelaide every year!

Started as family business in the sunny Gold Coast, Lloyds Auctions have gained huge credibility and notoriety across Australia.

Our innovative auction methods, attention to detail and our commitment to the auction business have resulted in becoming a trusted and respected company nationwide.

In 2020 we partnered with Auction Blue due to the continued high demand in South Australia for affordable furniture, appliances, catering equipment, antiques, trucks and yellow gear, and our favourite – prestige and collectable classic cars!

Lloyds Auctions often clear excess stock from major retailers. Insurers liquidate products subject to insurance claims from large multi-national retail chains and big name brands. Auction Blue is now part of the Lloyds Auctions national brand and prides itself in being a specialist in the wider Adelaide region.

We now offer greater exposure for our South Australia vendors and more variety for our customers all over the country.

Consistently ranked as one of the world’s most liveable city, Adelaideans now have access to a local drop off and pick up point. Located in the neighbouring CBD suburb of Richmond, Lloyds Auctions is convenient for bidders and vendors alike!

Many of our Adelaide auctions occur on a regular basis, either weekly, fortnightly or monthly, which makes it easy for locals to browse for camping gear, a new mattress or their dream classic car or bike.

Our online auctions are a great way to pick up a bargain and an easy way to shop a variety of different items, all in one online location. Perfect for those who are short on time, leaving it open for exploring the Mount Lofty Ranges or laying on Glenelg Beach!

Scott is heavily involved in daily valuations. He acts for a wide range of clients and vendors including Insurance companies, Financiers, Insolvency Practitioners, Government branches, Joint Ventures and Alliances, large companies, and private individuals. Scott offers a wealth of experience as an Auctioneer and Valuer in all aspects of Valuations and Asset Disposals.

Having headed disposal programs for Major Infrastructure Alliances, Joint Venture partnerships and Government projects throughout Australia, Scott has a wide range of experience in the Civil Construction, Earthmoving, Manufacturing and Agricultural sectors offering a “turn key” service from start to finish.
