2020 CW Wines, Coonawarra Terramore Shiraz

This Shiraz is full bodied with a smooth rich texture. Notes of dark cherry, bay leaf and dark chocolate are followed by blackberry on the palate and balanced with hints of vanillin oak. The lengthy palate is mouth filling and concentrated, displaying outstanding depth and intensity.

2014 Pasadera, Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir
RRP $390 per case, $32.50 per bottle
The grapes were hand picked on 4th April, lightly crushed and destemmed and the must was allowed to soak for 2 days, the wine was pumped over twice daily during early fermentation and was tapered off as ferment proceeded. Full delestage occurred at 12 baume and 2 baume, the wine was on skins for 12 days prior to pressing, free run and pressings where immediately combined. After becoming sugar dry the wine was inoculated for malolactic fermentation. After malo the wine was allowed to settle for a week, then racked of gross lees into barrel, where it matured for 12 months in French oak and was topped monthly.

Mornington Peninsula has earned a reputation for world-class wines of elegance and finesse. Pasadera is located in Shoreham, in the south of the region. The combination of north-facing slopes, fertile volcanic soils and intensive viticulture adds an extra dimension of complexity and power to the wines. The 2016 Chardonnay is a fine example of classic cool climate Chardonnay. Elegant, complex and refined.

Pinot Noir, just as it should be. Bursting with aromas of red cherry and subtle rhubarb nuances. Minimal intervention showing pure varietal characters. [Ex-PRESS-ion] has delightful acidity, coupled with a silky palate, verity tannins and a fresh delicate lingering finish.
