In 2021, Gary Ablett Jr was overwhelmingly voted by the AFL’s host broadcast partner, Channel 7, as the greatest footballer of all time. An 8x All Australian, 5x AFLPA MVP winner, 6x club Best & Fairest, 2x AFL premiership player and dual Brownlow medallist… there is no player in the history of the AFL that has accomplished more than Gary Ablett Jnr.
In recent years, Gary has launched a charity foundation to raise funds for international aid to help the world’s most disadvantaged children. For mums and babies living in poverty, the first year of a child’s life is critical for survival. Close to 2.5 million children die within their first month of life, mostly from preventable causes.
Upon learning this, Gary vowed to make a difference, choosing to use the platform he’s been given for change.
This year, to kick-start his international aid movement, Gary is auctioning his 2009 match-worn AFL Premiership Guernsey – arguably the most prized premiership-winning jumper ever to be put up for auction. For a player, considered by many to be the greatest of all time, this jumper holds additional value – as 2009 marks the season Gary was awarded his first Brownlow medal, joining an elite group of players to win a Brownlow medal in a premiership-winning year.
A once-in-a-lifetime experience to enjoy a 1 hour kick-to-kick footy experience with Gary Ablett Jnr, at a location in Geelong on a date/time that is suitable for all parties. This exclusive experience includes a #29 Geelong Football Club Guernsey signed by Gary Ablett Jnr, which will be presented to the purchaser by the AFL champion on the day. The purchaser will be able to bring three friends along for the private kick-to-kick.
Following the kick-to-kick, you will then have the opportunity to join Gary for a private coffee at a nearby cafe (approx. 30mins).
All proceeds from this experience will be donated to Compassion Australia’s Mums and Babies appeal.
The purchaser will be contacted by a member of the Ablett business team, to arrange this experience at a day and time suitable for all parties.

Gold Coast Titans Community Foundation – provides for the funding needs of specific club projects over and above what normal operating revenue would fund. The charter of the Foundation is to market and raise funds for approved football club projects.
