The roar of engines and the hum of excitement filled the air as some of the most beloved classic cars rolled across the auction floor this past weekend for another LIVE monthly auction. From Australian muscle to American powerhouses and British sophistication there was something for everyone! Here’s a recap of the highlights that turned heads and stirred nostalgia.
1978 Ford Falcon XC Cobra – ICAARS Authenticated – Sold for $166,500
The crown jewel of the auction, this stunning Ford Falcon XC Cobra, captured the essence of Australian motoring heritage. With ICAARS authentication, this beauty was not just a car but a slice of history. Its iconic blue-and-white livery, coupled with its rarity and meticulous restoration, commanded attention—and an impressive hammer price of $166,500.
1973 Holden LJ Torana GTR – Sold for $48,000
Another Aussie classic, the Holden LJ Torana GTR, turned plenty of heads. This model was in pristine condition. Selling for $48,000, it was a testament to the enduring appeal of this legendary compact muscle car.
1968 AMC AMX – Sold for $30,000
A rare gem in the world of American muscle, the 1968 AMC AMX stood out for its unique two-seater design and powerful performance. This model, finished in a striking colour scheme, appealing to those who appreciate vintage American innovation, fetching $30,000 under the hammer.
1967 Chevrolet El Camino SS – Sold for $33,500
The hybrid utility-muscle car, the Chevrolet El Camino SS, brought classic charm and versatility to the auction floor. With its signature styling and V8 power, it drew strong bids from enthusiasts, ultimately selling for $33,500. A symbol of 1960s American ingenuity, this El Camino was a definite crowd favourite.
1997 Aston Martin DB7 Supercharged – Sold for $31,500
