February Classic Car Auction Recap

Welcome, fellow car enthusiasts, to our comprehensive recap of the February Classic Car Auction! This month, collectors gathered to witness the spectacle of vintage automobiles roaring to life on the auction block. We even attracted eyeballs on the auction from the USA with some genuine American muscle featuring as part of the LIVE event.  From iconic muscle cars to elegant classics, there was something for everyone! Join us as we take a nostalgic journey through the highlights of February’s auction.

We all love a Chevy, and this one did not disappoint! The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air coupe sold for $40,000 with just 1289 miles on the clock. Finished in pearl white, this stunner is sure to be loved by the new custodians.

The 1974 Mazda RX3 S12a was a showstopper for sure. With just 67 thousand kilometres on the clock this well-presented Mazda was part of a private collection and had been in storage for 10 years and had not been started. Congratulations to the new custodians on your classic car!

It wouldn’t be an auction without a Ford, and one stand out was the 1972 Ford XA GS Fairmont. This was a genuine XA GS Fairmont with matching numbers and presents incredibly inside and out. Finished in the copper bronze metallic, it is sure to turn some heads on the road.

Continuing the Holden and Ford rivalry, this Holden was not to be missed. The was a very rare opportunity to step back in time and own one of the very last Holdens ever made. The 2017 Holden VF Commodore SS-V Redline was just like it was on the showroom floor in 2017 with only 190kms on the clock selling for $69,000.

We also had a few standout lots from the heritage plate auction being Q274 selling for $103,000, Q387 selling for $84,000 and NSW44444 selling for $200,000.

Those are just a few sold lots from what was another action packed auction. As always, you will find our next LIVE classic car auction on the last Saturday of every month, the next one being Saturday 30th of March from 10am. We will see you there!
