Have you seen our new Outlet Auctions?

This is our quick breakdown of everything you need to know about our latest Outlet Auctions.

You may have seen them popping up on our website. They sport the orange banner that says Outlet. But what exactly does this mean?

Well, let us tell you why you need to keep an eye out for these auctions, especially if you are in rural Australia.

What are they?

Put simply, an outlet auction is an online auction of stock that comes direct from our vendor’s warehouse instead of a Lloyds’ warehouse such as Carrara, QLD or Girraween, NSW.

Where does the product come from?

We had an overwhelming number of enquiries from potential vendors wanting to clear some of their stock through us… except they were located in rural Australia.

We have come up with a great way to support small Australian businesses in remote locations.

Now everyone can sell through Lloyds Auctions and ship their stock directly to the winning bidder themselves. This means there is more variety on our site and quality products are now much more accessible to our bidders.

Plus, our outlet vendors keep telling their friends, so we have more and more outlet auctions coming in 2020!

What do I expect to find in these auctions?

Anything and everything! So far in our Outlet auctions we have had tiles, carpet, blinds, timber, kids ride-on cars, batteries and even jet ski pontoons.

We have a rigorous testing process which can involve onsite visits, sample products and a high level of research to ensure the products provided are top notch!

We are confident that it is quality product from established businesses who are looking to move some of their stock quickly.

Why are outlet auctions special?

Our customers have been loving these outlet auctions as it means the product is doing less travelling and there is less handling.

Shipping direct from the vendor means its quicker and easier for everyone involved. Sometimes, the shipping is even free (keep a keen eye out for these).

Also, because the items are coming straight from the vendor, it means they can keep their own costs down and pass the savings on to you!

Why do they benefit me as a bidder?

If you are located in rural Australia and don’t have close access to one of our Lloyds’ warehouses, then this could be the answer to your cheap shipping prayers.

Buying an item that is located closer to you means less cost in shipping fees, and like we said before, sometimes shipping is even included!

They also feature a single kind of item, so you don’t have to sift through multiple lots to find what you are looking for. They are simply a carpet outlet auction or a tile outlet auction, making it easier for browsing and bidding.

Can I become a vendor for an outlet auction?

Yes, absolutely! If you like the sound of this then simply email us via [email protected] and tell us where you are, and what you would like to sell.

We can’t wait to hear from you!

If you would like to keep up to date with our outlet auctions, we can send you a weekly update of all our online auctions…
