June Classic Car Auction Recap

Classic car enthusiasts and collectors eagerly awaited the arrival of June’s Classic Car Auction. The auction promised an exquisite array of automotive treasures, ensuring a memorable event for both bidders and spectators. From iconic muscle cars to elegant European classics, the auction offered a diverse range of automotive masterpieces that catered to the preferences of all car enthusiasts. Let’s delve into the highlights of the auction.

How can we forget about the Coffin Confessor Coupe!?!?!? A 1974 Ford XB Falcon Hardtop previously owned by the one and only Bill Edgar ‘coffin confessor’. What started out as just a joke back in 2018, changed Bills life forever. Originally working as a financial private investigator, he then turned to a career as a funeral service, confessing any statements that a deceased person would like read out on behalf of them at their funeral rolling up in the very Ford Falcon that went under the hammer in June’s auction, selling under the hammer for $117,000.

Another iconic classic that sold under the hammer was the 1996 HSV VS GTSR. 1 of only 3 optimised with the sunroof from factory. These vehicles are extremely rare to come by and it gained a lot of attention when it went under the hammer, and rightfully so!

We all love a Cadillac, and the 1960 Cadillac 62 series was one not to be missed. I wouldn’t have minded this one myself! Well presented and finished in the beautiful cherry red, it’s the perfect car to go cruising on a Sunday drive.

Now get ready to rev your engines for the 1969 Ford Mustang Allan Moffat Tribute #9. This well-presented Ford is a replica of Allan Moffatts race car with the V8 engine and indicating just over two thousand kilometers. This one is sure to be enjoyed by the new custodian!

Oh, and the 1968 Porsche 911 Sportomatic, how could we forget!! There was quite the bidding war on this beauty, coming out with a fantastic result, selling under the hammer for $175,000.

The fun doesn’t stop there folks, be sure to tune into our next classic car auction on the 29th July from 10am for what will be another epic auction not to be missed!
