Pirtek Legends Night

The Pirtek Legends Night, in partnership with Lloyds Auctions, recently celebrated Australian motorsport icons and raised funds for Motorsport Ministries a national organisation that has been serving Australian motorsport since 1986. The event brought together motorsport legends like Dick Johnson, John Bowe, and Craig Lowndes, along with other industry luminaries and hosted by Grant Denyer, for an evening of memories, insights, and friendship.

Highlights included exclusive memorabilia auctions and special appearances, which created an inspiring atmosphere for attendees. Proceeds support Motor Ministries, a non-profit empowering young Australians to pursue careers in motorsport and help them through challenging times for all those who need it. Motoring events such as the F1, Supercars, Circuit Racing, Rally, Bikes, Karts, Speedway, Drags and Off-Road racing are all sports that Motorsport ministries attend to support drivers, representing the scale of importance of the national support group.

Over $200,000 was raised for the Motor Ministries charity in a live and online auction held by Lloyds Auctions. There were three objectives of the night, firstly to create much needed attention to the incredible work of Motor Ministries, pay tribute to motorsport legends and most importantly, raise much needed funds to ensure the development and success of Motorsport Ministries, which was successfully achieved, with over 400 guests attending the event.

Some of the items that were on offer in the auction include a Brodie Kostecki helmet package, wave the chequered flag experience at GC500, JW Marriott Gold Coast suite package, Porsche experiences, karting experience, Ride with Craig Lowndes, Parramatta Eels corporate box, VIP Dick Johnson legends dinner, and more!

The success of the Pirtek Legends Night demonstrated the strong bond between motorsport and its fans in Australia. Lloyds Auctions, in partnership with Pirtek, once again demonstrated the impact that can be made when industry leaders come together to support meaningful causes and inspire future generations. Through the funds raised and the stories shared, the event not only honoured motorsport legends but also paved the way for young Australians dreaming of careers in Australian Motorsport.
