We are helping Aussies unite for Firefighters across the nation

This fire season has been like never before. In NSW alone, almost 5 million hectares have been burned. The total area burned across Australia is almost the size of England.

These fires are making a devastating impact on the land and wildlife and on people as they experience huge loss and terror.

As these unprecedented bushfires tear through Australia, we want to help as many fire-affected lives as possible and we know that you do too.

We understand how hard it is to watch in horror and not knowing how to help.

Lloyds Bushfire Relief Auctions will be online this week featuring zero costs and zero fees, allowing all proceeds to go directly to fire-affected communities, firefighters and volunteers.

Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews, and the NSW Rural Fire Services have stated that cash is critical as charities struggle to sort through donated goods.

The Rural Fire Service have been by our side and now it is our turn to help them.

We are all just good people helping good people

Supporting local not-for-profit communities is something we always hold very close to our hearts.

Last year we introduced the brand new, monthly Lloyds Charity Benefit Auction which is 100% for charity with 0% fees where we raised funds for Variety, The Salvation Army Bushfire Appeal 2019, Motor Racing Ministries and Titans Community Foundation.

Each incredible item in these auctions has a charity of the donor’s choice linked to it where all money raised will be donated.

Lloyds Bushfire Relief Auctions will be online this week with all proceeds going directly to fire affected communities, firefighters and volunteers.

There will be zero costs and zero fees with 100% of the funds being donated directly into the accounts of charities and fire services including the Red Cross, Salvation Army, Wires and the RFS.

All proceeds will go directly to the volunteers and the fire-affected communities, through our chosen recipient, NSW Rural Fire Service.

A vendor of these Bushfire Relief Auctions can also make a nomination that the funds raised from their donation go to any other State Fire Service, Red Cross, Salvation Army, or WIRES.

This is a perfect way of turning donated items into much needed cash for these communities.

How can you help?

Donations are open to ANYONE with items of value to contribute. Even if you don’t have goods, services or money to donate yourself, you can spread the word and bring our Bushfire Relief Auctions to the attention of businesses or people around you.

We anticipate holding a series of auctions in this coming week which could raise millions of dollars due to the huge response from people wanting to donate whatever they can.

It can be an item, service or experience. You can even volunteer your time providing a service for the winning bidder, all in the name of Bushfire Relief.

We encourage you to get involved and to keep checking the website for updates where we have some very exciting and popular items up for grabs.

The first auction is online now featuring a 2010 AFL Premiership Medal of the Collingwood Magpies.

If you can donate an item or experience that people can bid on to raise vital funds, we would be most grateful as it helps us best assist those in the fire affected communities.

If you are in a position to donate an item or experience that people can bid on to raise vital funds, or even shout out and promote the 100% Charity Auction head to lloydsauctions.com.au/donatenow
